The occupational health, safety and welfare of all employees and subcontractors working on West City Construction sites is a priority of the company and its management. As such we have a well developed Health and Safety System which includes Health & Safety Policy, Management Manual and Site Specific Safety Plans/Folders.

It is our policy to emphasise to all employees and subcontractors the need to take the initiative in anticipating, preventing and correcting conditions and practices that may cause harm.

Staff inductions, site inductions, health and safety meetings, hazard identification, and safety awareness all form part of our daily operations.

West City Construction met the Tertiary Level requirements for ACC Workplace Safety Management Practices up until October 2018, when ACC discontinued the WSMP programme.
